Phew...finished my second paper today, dint sleep well this few days, two more papers to go :( This few weeks i can feel that something is missing inside me, i become numb and I'm not sure what is going on with me, i guess I'm in revolution stage... The feelings is so abstract and i don't feel like telling anyone what is in my heart now, it seem like i don't bother what is happening around me...
Anyways, i need to skip the feelings part and move on with other topic in this blog. Last few week while doing revision, one of the chapter in substance abuse subject catches my attention, and it also came out in exam today.
The interesting topic in the chapter is "Anger Management" which are applicable for everyone :) It is very common for human beings to get angry sometime, and i believed that everyone have this experienced! Sometime anger is unavoidable and uncontrollable, and there is a consequences too if a person endure too much of dissatisfaction or undesirable feelings...No matter how, as a human beings we still will counter with anger.
Everyone need the anger management skills in order to express the feelings appropriately. There are eight steps in anger management:
Ways to keep cool:
1) Get exercise every day.
2) Eat right.
3) Get enough sleep.
4) Learn to relax.
5) Know your feelings.
6) Write about these feelings.
7) Find a quiet place.
8) Take a time out.
9) Find fun distraction.
10) Make good decisions about what you see and hear.
11) Choose friends who make you feel good.
12) Learn to forgive and forget.
Besides that, 1-2-3 TURTLE is also useful when a person are angry and upset! And i wonder is it turtle use this method for anger management that's why turtle look so calm, LOL!
1-GO INSIDE YOUR SHELL (think before you act, take a "time out").
2-TAKE THREE DEEP BREATHS (time to RELAX, calm yourself down).
3-WALK AWAY (think of a good solution).
In conclusion, everything has the solutions! Just like dealing with the anger...Do not avoid it, but confront with it!!!
